Clinical:mildly pyrexial (380C),normotensive (140/80 mmHg.) with pale mucosae; there was a faint odour of urine on him. A smooth midline lower abdominal mass was palpable, extending halfway to the umbilicus, compatible with an enlarged bladder, unable to produce MSU ,performed a urinary catheterization (7)-significance of 7?, dipstix performed,side-room urine microscopy,ectal examination revealed a smooth non-tender rubbery enlargement of Mr Romano’s prostate.
