What do you do when you are having trouble reading a word?
read the word slowly
chunk up the word and read the different parts
sound it out
ask for help
look the word up in the dictionary
Look at the sentence where the word is and read the sentence in context
What do you do when you don't understand the meaning of a word or phrase in the text?
ask someone around you
re-read the word (out loud)
