INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGN BASIS WITH E-LEARNING
Designing and developing good, quality multimedia learning materials takes resources and time.
Definition of e-Learning instructional design
Process of analyzing, designing and developing digital learning materials, centered on the student, in order to achieve perfectly defined personal or organizational
Pedagogical models and e-Learning.
VARIABLES
the extent to which the learning process is controlled by the learner or the teacher / trainer
the extent to which content and assignments are controlled by the learner or the teacher / trainer.
Instructional design models
Instructional models are an important axis in the implementation of online programs by generating formative experiences in learning environments.
Conceptualization of multimedia materials
Multimedia materials are those that allow the coherent integration of different information codes
IMAGES
ANIMATION
TEXT
SOUND
Multimedia presentations are a resource that well used can support learning.
Some of the criteria that define a good multimedia presentation are
Good visibility of the contents. The colors of the different elements, especially text and background, have to contrast enough so that the reading of their content is not impeded. Likewise, the slides must be clear, not contain excessive content and it must refer to the same concept or topic.
Outlining. The multimedia presentation is not a document page, but must present the concepts and their relationships in a schematic way, from diagrams or concept maps that visually facilitate the understanding of the contents.
Complementarity of the media. The use of text, images and sounds should be done in such a way that each of the elements complements or clarifies the rest. In no case should they be used as distracting elements with little or no relation to the exposed contents.
APLICATION
computer program designed as a tool to perform specific operations or functions. Generally, they are designed to facilitate certain complex tasks and make people's computing experience easier.
Pedagogy in e-learning
E-learning is a new learning modality that is increasingly popular thanks to the facilities it offers. Using new technologies, it allows the student to study at their own pace.
El e-learning, o aprendizaje en línea, se define como el proceso de formación llevado a cabo utilizando tecnologías de la información y la comunicación.
Instructional design in e-Learning
planning and producing an e-Learning product, from its thought to its realization, requires a great deal of effort and dedication.
It is the process through which a learning environment is created, as well as the necessary materials, with the aim of helping the student to develop the necessary capacity to achieve certain tasks
Technological foundations of e-Learning
It is delivered to the end user through the use of computers using standard Internet technology.
E-learning works in a network, which makes it capable of being instantly updated, stored, retrieved, distributed and allows the sharing of instruction or information.
It focuses on the broader vision of learning that goes beyond traditional training paradigms ”
TIC design models
The community has at its disposal wide possibilities of its use, for adequate access, it is imperative to possess and master knowledge, bases and principles that guarantee a reflective and critical incorporation within the new educational context generated by the so-called Age of Knowledge and Information.
TIC increase their impact in various contexts, specifically educational
Design process of e-Learning materials
Instructional Design is the process by which a pedagogical bonus is provided to the materials and content that make up e-learning training.
It consists of converting the contents into materials that have an optimal educational quality and that are suitable for the performance of the training in question.
. Instructional Design is of vital importance when creating a specific e-learning course
