Social Push Factors:
- Poor services
Residents may be pushed out of an area due to a lack of services. Proper services are required for living and should be provided in a timely manner. There are regions with better services that may appeal to people since they are more convenient.
- Lack of education
Families with children will seek a better education for their children, which will be a key pusher. Because education plays such a significant role in our everyday lives, they are likely to relocate outside of their city/state/country in search of a better education system.
- Poor medical care
People are more likely to migrate to a city, country or state that offers better medical care, as this is a basic requirement for everyone. Medical attention should always be available and accessible because accidents can happen at any time. People will migrate away from a region that does not give enough medical care.
Social Pull Factors:
- Plenty of food
We cannot function without food, which is a need for living. A sufficient supply of food is incredibly vital, which is why individuals would want to relocate to a city/country/state that provides it.
- Available services
Services should be provided at all times since they are required for a variety of reasons. One of them being to keep the house running. Electricity, internet, and other similar services are significant since they are used in our daily life.
- Lots of doctors
Doctors are required to ensure that our health is maintained and that we are in good condition. They treat illnesses and write prescriptions. Without doctors, our health might be risked, and if left untreated, it can quickly deteriorate. People are more likely to migrate to areas with a large number of doctors since doctors play such an important part in our lives.
Economic Push Factors:
- Unemployment
Unemployment might cause people to flee cities/states/countries because they are unable to find work. They won't be able to purchase basic essentials if they don't have a job.
- Poor pay
People want to make a large wage since it allows them to buy groceries, hygiene products, and other necessities in their everyday lives. People will seek for places with higher wages if they have a job that pays poorly.
- Hazardous working conditions
Working in potentially dangerous settings might result in significant injury or even death. It can cause many infections and diseases affecting different organs in our bodies. People are more likely to relocate to a city or state with better job conditions.
Economic Pull Factors:
- Job opportunities
Job opportunities will allow people to earn a salary for their living. They will be able to work and earn which will be required to afford the essential products we use everyday.
- Better quality of life
People would want to migrate to regions with a better quality of life as there are high chances of them being happy and healthy there.
- Good pay
Earning a good pay will benefit people and their families. They will be able to afford new and advanced products that will make their life better and easier.
Political Push Factors:
- Persecution
Persecution can force people to flee their homes because it offends and hurts them. They are more than likely to find a city /state or country that embraces and respects them as they are.
- War
Many people can be driven out of their cities/states/countries by war. This is because war brings with it a slew of issues such as death, violence, and injury. People will seek out locations that are more peaceful and do not have ongoing battles.
Political Pull Factors :
- Democracy
People would like to live in a democratic region. It will provide them the opportunity to elect a government through free and fair elections. They will have decision-making power.
- Freedom
Freedom is a condition in which people are free to speak, act, and pursue happiness without being bound by external constraints. These considerations highlight the significance of freedom. People will migrate to regions with more freedom because they will have access to all of the points above.
