Definition of Decision Support Systems. Decision Support Systems (DSS) are interactive computer-based systems that allow people to solve problems and make decisions using IT communications, data, documents, expertise, and models.
Decision Support Systems (DSS) are a type of computerised information system that helps people make decisions.

Handle a big volume of data from a variety of sources
