Properly inform everyone about the equipment being used to limit risk of fire, explosion, injury, and other hazards.

Disaster Management

Fire

3d printer and general hardware "explosions" are usually rather exaggerated. though they can stil present a fire hazard. I'd sar we should just have some sort of sprinkler system wherever the 3d printer maybe left un-supervised, Or at least a proper, autonomous smoke alarm. -Miles

lunch tables/booths

Depending on size, a fire extinguisher in each corner. Training on how to use them for every student and member of staff.

Less Distracting

Won't give me motion sickness

Cheaper Costs

Not exaggerated. Almost died once -Patrick

exposed brick looks cool

saves money

can look like a prison

Looks less formal due to the exposed brick and ceiling. Makes the building kind cheap

A sprinkler system wouldn't work, water an expensive electronics don't mix. We need C class fire extinguishers.

We could potentially use recycled materials like bricks and refurbished wood to close off an renovate spaces.

industrial look = less construction needed for the building

the lights are not harsh

types of seating

Looks quite astray from your typical cubical office, glass building interiors, and most other high paying job environments

noise reduction (sound proofing

a wooden box with a desk, a chair, a TV, a florescent light, and a sticker that says "Time out box" then put the bad kids in them. They are forced to watch a video telling them what they did wrong and how they can improve themselves. You see, completely ethical, no human rights violations here :)

acoustic flooring--rubber underlayers

sound absorbing materials

soundproofed pods for individual plt time

I disagree with lockers, our school is smaller than the average school space, we are not required to carry textbooks, and the money for these lockers could be put to better use elsewhere.

Separate work spaces for individuals and groups.
