[Karl + Rufus Hyp Tree] Focus on early-mid stage career people e.g. 25-35 (people who might do tech bootcamp) who want to find ways to transition their career / develop themselves and want something that is both inner and outer and leads to right livelihood (with reasonable income) providing “transformational intentional developmental bootcamps” which combine classic skills (coding, youtubing etc etc) with deep developmental work and interpersonal skills etc; the development programs could be free (internship like) and charged for (and we seek funding to heavily subsidize the latter for access to other groups who otherwise would not be able to go).
We can design a program that helps people transition (it is possible and we have the skills/capacity)
We can build transition programs
We have map for essential inner development to support conscious action e.g. The Pathways of Liberation Matrix
We have extensive experience in personal development
There is a growing knowledge base in research and the community to draw on
Transition is possible
Evidence from e.g. monastic communities and intentional communities demonstrates that development in e.g. waking up and cleaning up is possible
People do develop ontologically in substantial ways
Practices have been developed and tested that can help with transition
self-compassion, inner parts awareness, feelings and needs awareness, somatic awareness, empathic listening, holding multiple perspectives and paradox, mediating polarization, etc offer essential support for transition
They will be effective programs
25-35y olds should be a focus
We are in a polycrisis / metacrisis and people are noticing
Motivated 25-35y olds are a particularly strong leverage point for societal change
25-35y olds are particularly good potential "users" because many don't yet have as many external "obligations" (family, mortgage) and so can join this kind of program
There are 20-35y olds longing for more meaningful livelihoods and life paths
25-35y olds have more open minds (than older groups)
25-35y olds are mature enough for these practices to be effective
25-35y old may be at career change points yet have enough resources to pay for a program
Helping people transition will have a significant impact on the state of the planet and society (in fact it is essential aspect of achieving that)
Supporting people to do their inner healing and mindfulness work exponentially improves their ability to make an external impact and the likelihood of them doing so
These programs must be multi-dimensional (grow, wake, clean etc) and prioritize embodied practice and community
Programs based in embodied practice and community have a significantly greater impact on being growth than (simply) information delivery programs
Effective transition requires an integral approach with action/change on both inner and outer and individual and collective levels
These programs should combine in person residential (& collective) experience with ongoing sangha and support
Group creation is essential to sustained practice
Sustained engagement and practice is key to sustained growth in waking up and growing up
We believe "together"
Transition means XXX
The integral framework with its AQAL model is a good basis for mapping transition
There is primacy of inner work so waking up, growing up, cleaning up (and showing up)
There are jobs and opportunities now aligned with a teal/integral/... approach (so people can find aligned livelihood)
Full transition involves both an internal shift (e.g. shift in inner being, mindset) and a shift in external circumstances (e.g. job and living) and behaviour (e.g. ecologically and socially conscious and responsible action in the world)
We can recruit 10,000 participants over 10y
We can design and launch the program within 2y
We can have 100 people do the program in the first year
We can have 600 people do it in the next 2y after that
We can have 1000 people do it in the next 2y
We can have 1000+ people do the program from year 6 on
