Checks if the shipper registered earlier or is not a defaulter

Verification of company credentials, SECP registration, NTN/FBR, and also visit at company address if not a known or famous company or brand.

Forward to operations team for checking transport services required, like details about the commodity, packaging, weight, type & size of vehicles required, frequency of trips, origin & destination, payment terms, credit line requirements, in-transit insurance, detention terms, loading/offloading labor requirement, GST, billing cycles, payment cycles, any seasonal demands, any other special customized transport requirement or commercial terms.

Operations team discuss the viability with the management for further direction

Depending upon business prospect, meeting with the client logistic manager may be scheduled at their or Shyft office to further understand the transport requirements, risks, payment terms, volumes & turnover, with more clarity. This should be followed by Origin & destination sites visit, as per management direction

After fully understanding the requirements, try to figure out the current rates at which the client is availing services with the competitor transport company. Now, share necessary details with the supply / vendor team for matching customer expected service level & rates for achieving 'perfect order fulfillment' with a customer wow !!

Once a competitive offer both in terms of vendor service & rates is made available, a quotation or a written contract agreement, as the case may be, to prepared and shown to the management for obtaining 'go ahead' and dispatch to the customer / shipper

If the customer / shipper accepts the Shyft offer by formal PO, the Shipper be registered in the system and order be entered for further processing for order fulfillment.
