during lent in Christmas Christians often choose to give up certain food or drinks.
Islams cant eat pork and cant drink alcohol
the quran states that meat eaten by Muslims must be halal/ the lawful animal is slaughtered in a specific way
many Hindus are vegetarian but some tend to avoid veg such as garlic onions and mushrooms.they aren't allowed to eat beef because cows are sacred.
Jews cant eat pig,rabbit, hare, camel and other animals and dairy and meats must not be cooked together
budditsts believe all living things are sacred and they avoid alcohol and some choose to fast from noon till sunrise
someone people are intolerant to ingredients which can lead to illness, bloating, vomiting and pains if they are eating
