Amercian markets stopped buying Spanish products because they started being more self-sufficient.
Spanish craftsmen couldn't compete with other products because the monarch didn't protect them
Due to all the gold and silver brought to Europe from Amercia the prices increaded
Craft production fell and the farmlands were abandoned
The Royalty was also in crisis, they were spending more than what they received from income

Among the nobles, they idea of work was dishonourable
Spain experienced serious democraphic problems
They became beggars, thieves or bandits
