- - - - June was definitely embarrassed when Luke wife approached her and asked her why she took Luke from her and why she slept with him knowing he was married. she later saw her again after she gave birth to Hannah which changed her secondary emotion from embarrassment to guilt.
- - - - high self-esteem: although offred doesn't become an instant hero as time passes, she gains the confidence to do as she please, to the point where her commander's wife couldn't tell her what to do. she even slaps her commander at one point. and organizes a group of women to escape Gilead.
- - - - June’s mother holly maddox has always been the feminist marcher and “wild” activitist. Holly was quite disappointed that June was married and working as an assistant editor. She believed women were always conformed into small spaces, spaces like marriage and work. She believed that June was settling and not being all she could be.
  - - - later on in the show, june begins to befriend the commander, the commander begins to take her out on dates and speak to her about issues concerning him, june gladly takes on this role inorder to get on the good side of commander waterford and also to bring a rift between him and serena joy. Which eventually worked. ( for a moment)

Rachel package is a collection of letter handmaids have written about their experiences, how many times they were raped, beaten and mistreated. When the letters are shared online, Canadians are upset which lead to them opening up Canada for handmaids who escaped and also banning Serena Joy and Waterford in canada.
    - - the men of glued were certainly biased communicators, when informing "outsiders" about gilead they pretended that the women voluntarily entered into gilead and voluntarily became handmaids. they made it seem as if the women were there because they believed that it was God'd duty for them. when in fact they were kidnapped to gilead and are raped ignorer to conceive.
  - - - negative outcome of fearful messages
        
        an anxiety from a kind of ad that is set to warn /inform us.
        
        The emotional ads were certainly used to place some anxiety to the women, to warn them that if they ever rebelled they will definetely suffer the consquences. this technique was done to show the women that they were privileged to be apart of gilead.
- - - - June became someone that people believed had accurate information. she would tell the women to do as they were told, so women who were probably scared to sleep with their commanders were now doing it. if she told the women to flirt extra hard they followed. SHE BECAME A VOICE IN THEIR WILDERNESS.
