- - - - DEFINITION - a thermosetting plasic is a material that can only be formed once as it can't be reheated or recycled, they are very hard and heat resistant. thermoset plastics are normally moulded, cast or laminated. they are diffcult to extrude or injection mould because they harden when heated.
