When you start working as a care worker, you should go through an induction process that includes an overview of your employer's safeguarding policies and procedures. If this does not occur, the employer has failed in their responsibility to you as an employee. Basic training, on the other hand, will not teach you everything you'll ever need to know about working in health and social care. Legislation, for example, changes with time, and the laws and regulations that apply to your job will change as well. It is critical that you stay current with current rules and practices in order to provide safe, appropriate, and effective treatment.
