Psychology memory
3 types of memory that have been identified by psycholags
sensory memory
extremely short memory, lasts from 100 to 500 milliseconds
for example when you touch something with your hands you feel its fullness but for a very short time
memory
System where we temporarily hold and manipulate information
for example, if your friend tells you # and you don't have a pen, you will repeat and repeat this to remember this #
Memory is all facts, ideas and names that are consciously available to you, all your experiences and conscious memories fall into this category.
procedural memory concerns your knowledge of your body movements, for example when you ride a bicycle or play a musical instrument, most of our procedural memories are tacit and unconscious
Long-term memory
Persists up to 30 seconds before death
Now psychologists believe that most long-term memories are information that was initially processed in working memory in its basic form and possibly in emotional
memory in action
This is the ability to save and restore information
all this information is stored in various brain systems

Cognitive strategies
cognitive strategies and effective strategies Now cognitive strategies tell how to approach the problem, what methods to use to perform, they are mainly interested in more effective ways of thinking one cognitive strategy
Effective strategies
help us better control our emotional response.
