large-larger, big-bigger, fat-fatter, thin-thinner THAN
Same level: As... as
Irregular: bad-worse, good- better, far-further
One or 2 phonetic syllables: soft- softer, small- smaller
3 or more phonetic syllables: beautiful- more beautiful
Superlatives
1/ 2 syllables: The Cholula pyramid is the widest in the world.
