Functions→ f(x):
In simple terms a function can be a set of ordered pairs, where a set of D (domain) is a rule that assigns a unique element in R (range) to each element in D. For Example: {(2,4), (3,5), (7,3)} is a function that says. "2 is related to 4", "3 is related to 5" and "7 is related 3". Also, notice that: the domain is {2,3,7} (the input values). In more complex terms, a function isa statement, rule, or law that establishes a link between one variable (the dependent variable) and another (the dependent variable). In mathematics, functions are everywhere, and they're crucial for articulating physical links in the sciences. There are many forms of functions, such as: Many to one function. One to one function. Onto function. One and onto function. Constant function. Identity function. Quadratic function. Polynomial function.
