Comment: I will consider here how these concepts can or cannot be applied considering my reality and my students. For my teaching reality, in which there are few students who know how to communicate in a foreign language, pedagogical activities would not effectively work as a translanguaging. However, if we consider a higher level of exposure of students and higher quality of the activities to the second language, over time it would be possible to work going back and forth from the first language to the second and it would be beneficial, as this would achieve the goal of learning a second language, which is firstly, communication .
