Research Proposal, Assignment 4A: Chapter 15 Concept Map - Coggle Diagram
Research Proposal
Proposal Sections
Background Information
Including background information that provides the reader knowledge about the topic, as though they did not know anything about the topic being discussed.
Research Design
This section is often multiple paragraphs that lay out the research and how it was conducted, often times in a step by step paragraph form. This section would include tables and figures and captions that further explain the details. There would also be the expected results vs observed results.
Specific Aims
A list-style formatting of specific aims, boldface. Each aim must be followed by a short paragraph description summary of the approach. Due to size, I myself would separate this section from the abstract.
Significance/Impact
This would be the final paragraph of the proposal, stating how the impact of this research would be beneficial overall to people in general or the potential next generation because there is a need for it.
Abstract: The one paragraph summary of the entire proposal, touching on the main topics to be discussed in the proposal.
Components:
Background, statement of need/ problem needing to be "solved", objective of the proposal, general strategy, significance
