Behaviorist perspective
Says that humans learn by imitating,practicing, reinforcing and forming habits.

2.Innatist perspective
According to Chomsky "children are capable to learn new language". Stephen Krashen developed the Monitor Model.
Monitor Model's hypotesis:
Acquisitional learning, monitor, natural order, comprehensible input and affective filter.
3.Cognitive perspective
Mind is like a computer. Capacities: Storing, integrating, retrieving, information-processing model. Knowledge acquired can become automatic when speaking.
4.Usage based-learning
Learner create connections between language stuff and what is happening at the moment.
5.Competition model
Learners must be aware of different cues according to the language. Sentence's structur can change in different languages.
6.Language and the brain
Recent studies showed during language processing of 1st and 2nd language, an activation of both hemispheres of the brain. It depens on the person's age and profiency.
