chronically underfunded
Academic performance of students in underfunded schools are low leading to higher drop out rates
Lower literacy rates for POC communities
Slow social mobility for POC communities as education is highly valued in American society and is a way to achieve social mobility.
Lack of representation in predominately White employment spaces
Lack of secure housing or food perpetuating the problem for future generations

Strict disciplinary policies in school that disproportionately affect students of color.
