Evidence
In the quotes everyone talks about their identity, for example, Mother Teresa said that she is a nun who belongs to the world, but her heart belongs to Christ. So, she is already giving us information about her identity, since she tells us what she believes in.
In the case of Albert Einstein he tells us that his identity depends on his theory. Because if his theory is approved he will be a citizen of the world, but if not, the French will consider him a German Jew.
Instead, Barack Obama says that part of his identity belongs to his race. But then in other words he says that his race doesn't quite define him as a person.
Nelson Mandela says that if you are an African, even if you don't like it yourself, your identity is already decided from the moment you were born in South Africa.

Based on the quotations, how closely does each person identify with the country in which he or she was born? What part of the quotation leads you to believe this?
Mother Teresa
Mother Teresa does not seem to be very close to the country in which she was born because she tells us that she is now a nun and citizen in India.
Albert Einstein
Albert Einstein according to the quote does not seem to care what he will be considered. I believe this because he may have known that he will always be a German.
Barack Obama
Obama says almost nothing about his country of birth. But it may not have much to do with him since he became president of the United States. Maybe he help his country with his decisions
Nelson Mandela
Mandela does not seem to like that in South Africa a person is already politicized. This as it says whether
one recognizes it or not.
