As soon as he arrived at Vienna, his father died.
Beethoven took over the head of household. He wrote to the employer of his father and said to give half of the salary to him.

Relationship with Haydn
Quickly gained recognition in Bonn. At the age of 21, he went to Vienna to study under Haydn
Normally Haydn or Mozart makes contrast by key change. But Beethoven sticks to one key: F minor. He uses strange syncopation and extreme sudden change in dynamics.
Haydn didn't like beethoven's music because it was too complex but beethoven wanted to do something different.
Medical Condition

Beethoven admired the French Revolution and its hero Napoleon, so he wrote a symphony dedicated to him. But when Napoleon became emperor, Beethoven felt betrayed and got mad.
1790 - had his first musical breakthrough and wrote a cantata for commemorating the death of the emperor. It was rehearsed many times but never performed.
He played music from bach, mozart and haydn when he was young.
