Cell Structure & Functions
Discovery of Cell
Discovered by Robert Hook
He discovered the cell in 1665
He used a simple magnifying glass to look at bark of a tree or cork and observed some blocks and called them cell.
At that time the efficient modern microscope wasn't present so he only observed the block kind of structures but now we are able to see the structures present inside the cell.

Eukaryotic Cells
Eukaryotic cells are the cells which have a well organized nucleus with a cell membrane.
All cells except bacteria and Blue Green Algae
Prokaryotic Cells
Prokaryotic cells are the cells which do not have a nuclear membrane.
