Effect of resistance
- Dato’ Bahaman and his followers showed the braveness against British
- British position in Pahang criticised by the patriotic spirit of the Pahang’s warriors.
- The resurrection happened for 4 years, started on 1891 until 1894.
- British had to bear a lot of debt.
5 Sultan Wan Muhammad was forced by British to pay 7200 dollar a year to settle the debt.

1.Loss of Right to Collect Taxes
Dato ’Bahaman had opposed the British action of appointing E.A. Wise as a Magistrate Officer and Revenue Collector in the Temerloh district.
2.Construction of Police Station
E.A. Wise had set up a police station in Lubuk Terua without first consulting with Dato 'Bahaman.
- Deprivation of Title
Hugh Clifford considered Dato ’Bahaman a traitor because of his refusal to obey British orders.
