AUSTRALIAN DEMOCRACY
Australians over 18 have the right and responsibility to vote at elections for candidates that most closely represent their views about how their society should be run. this is called representative democracy. in this democracy elections are help and regular intervals, if we are not happy with our elected members, we can vote for others to hopefully do a better job at the next.

Nationals - believes in strong local communities, refers to themselves as 'local champions', believes in representing interests of aussies that liv in the country side.
liberals - believes in the power of individual businesses to make their own choices, strives for less government control, liberals + nationals join forces at the federal level to have enough members to form government
