More young girls are affected by social media because of what they see
based on how other people look on social media, decreases young girls confidence levels
seeing beautiful models on social media has become the norm and young girls have to think/believe they have to look the same as them
young girls have to realize that what we see on social media isn't always true and that most things are unrealistic

Most people are so concerned with how society and other people view them
have to have the perfect filters on our posts, perfect backgrounds, perfect caption, perfect outfit, etc
Mental Health
high schoolers and college aged students are mostly affected by social media and their mental health has decreased
Isolation/Loneliness/Suicidal Thoughts
social media makes us feel isolated/lonley and can cause us to have suicidal thoughts
bullying
COVID, how many people have felt isolated during this past year but also how we have connected more
Fear of missing out when seeing our friends post on social media and we are not invitied

we are so influenced by social media that there has become a shift in our behavior towards one another
we care so much what people think of us

reliant on social media and our phones
models have become the norm therefore making us think that it's realistic and what we should look like
