Answer: Taking captives let them keep conquered lands and They would sell the captives as slaves to make more of their invasion
The invasions by Vikings, Magyars, and Muslims caused widespread disorder and suffering. Most western Europeans lived in constant danger. Kings could not effectively defend their lands from invasion. As a result, people no longer looked to a central ruler for security. Instead, many turned to local rulers who had their own armies

Answer: There like wealthy landowners. There powerful and rich. There like a pyramid. At the peak is a kind/lord.
How did feudalism compare to the aryan caste system
Answer: They compared it to inherited social class.
A feudal pyramid was a structure of feudal society and it was really much like a pyramid and at the top was a reigned king.
Knights rode horses and they pledge to defend there lord and exchange for fiefs.
In the feudal system, status really determined a persons power or what they do. So medieval writers classified people into three groups. Those who fought, those who prayed, and those who worked. These social classes were in many cases inherited.

What is a manor?
Manors' was the lord's estate.
Manors provided protection for the serfs and slaves and the protection was provided by the lord that they served.
How did religion support the feudal system?
Answer: At the time the church was set up just like the feudal system was at that time.

Religion at the time was like the only way for people to have a way to learn and it provided some light in the dark ages.
Was the distinction between serfs and slaves important?
Answer: Slaves were thought as property by other people, and serfs are bound to the land they occupy from one generation to another.
Slavery and Serfdom
For most serfs, both men and women, life was work and more work. As soon as children were old enough, they were put to work in the fields or in the home.
Many children did not survive to adulthood. Illness and malnutrition were constant afflictions for medieval peasants. The average life span was about 35 years.
