According to the remarks of Guevara and Ordoñez (2012), reflecting upon quality bilingual education can not be apart from considering the community in which it's going to be applied. Being from a small town in Brazil, I truly wish my students could have more opportunities to be confronted with English outside of school. Fortunately, nowadays, most languages can be accessed by only one click in our devices, and it can be a great source of input, but as they don't get to use it around town in meaningful communicative situations, we must provide them opportunities to develop output during the classes, and for this reason, the concept of authenticity becomes more and more relevant. In my practice, I've noticed that when they are most willing to communicate something is when they get the most motivated and active in their language learning process. So, bringing the language out of the paper to life becomes essential.
