The Project Life Cycle
Initiation Phase
In this phase you, identify constraints, identify people and resources needed, question if the project is feasible and identify a realistic timescale.
-
Outputs
Feasibility report - outlines the user requirements and success criteria, the constraints set by the client, the possible risks set by the client and how to mitigate them.
-
Phase review - a reflection after each phase to decide whether to continue with the project or to go back and make changes. You can check if anything has been missed or forgotten.
Execution Phase
In this phase you,
Inputs
-
-
Constraints list - this is produced using the user constraints from the initiation phase. - the constraints list is detailed and is detailed about each constraint.
Outputs
Deliverable product - this is the final product which is made during the execution phase. It is tested thoroughly as the product is being created.
-
-
Evaluation Phase
In this phase you,
Inputs
Deliverable product - this is the final product which is made during the execution phase. It is tested thoroughly as the product is being created.

Planning Phase
In this phase you, create tests, made pictorial drawings of the expected final product, a schedule is developed dividing the project into several tasks, determining who is to complete what and by when.
