The purpose of dental hygiene is to control the oral health status of patients by figuring out risk factors, local factors, and homecare routines. Without dental hygiene patients would not be able to alleviate any form or periodontitis/gingivitis and the problem could lead to something much worst systematically.

Does my patient need a pillow, blanket, LA, NO2 during an appointment>
Evaluation
When evaluating my service towards my patient I will do this by building a rapport with them, listening and deciding how to make their appointment the most comfortable. Also talking with them and discussing the best treatment options, and collaborating with the hygienist/dentist to reach an agreement.
