High-Tech Treasure Hunt
All Kinds of Games
The family of Trey hosted Hee Jung, at first they weren't too close, but all changed when she saw him playing Drill, a computer game.
-
On her last day she told him that she had made a game for him, that was like a puzzle.
The game consists of finding a prize that Hee Jung hid, she would help Trey giving him some clues.
The First Clue
After the leaving of Hee Jung the kid starts looking for the clues she left. The first clue were coordinates of Sol’s school.
Trey already knew where to start, he guided Sol to the place he used to play with Sol.
-
With the help of Sol, Trey looked for the coordinates in the cell phone.
Pretty Tricky
-
Trey was mad, but then he started thinking and realized that he had visited that place with Hee Jung before, and on that trip she had taken a lot of pictures.
Sol told Trey that he would have to drive for two hours, so he won't take him there.
Hee Jung had a photos-sharing web site and that helped Trey to find one picture in which she held a scrap of purple paper with a message saying; “Go where blue and green meet”.
Trey thinked about awate and land but Sol said that it could mean the metro because the only place where blue line and green line cross was at L’Enfant Plaza.
-
Say Go
-
when they finally arrive at the D.C.’s Old City Hall they find another purple paper with a business card inside from Threy’s favorite game store and a note that said “just say go”.
When they arrive Rick (the owner of the store) was expecting him, Threy said the magic word “Go” and Rick gave him a game called Go with a note that said .“We can play online! <3, Hee Jung.”
-
Too Easy
They asked to a Metro employee if he had seen something, he answer them that the custodians clean the whole place every night, this comment make Trey sad.
After Trey emailed her, she told him that if it had been there that would be too easy.
-
-
Finally they discovered that the clue was something Trey can’t read and thanks to that they will figure out that the place where the blue and green line intersect is the place they were searching for, this is the “city hall ” in Washington, D.C.
