Safety Hazard - Dust produced when cutting is harmful - Ensure good ventilation
Comes in large sheets and in different thicknesses
Used for Furniture
Hardboard
Wood Particles - Mixed with Resin
Like MDF but more dense
Used for drawer bottoms / tool walls etc
Blockboard
Strips of softwood glued together and faced with hardboard on the outside
Very Stable - Used for worktops and Shelves
Chipboard
Larger Particles of Timbers - Mixed with Resin
Used for Boarding - Construction
