comes in large sheets - different thicknesses.
used for furniture
safety hazard - dust produced when cutting is harmful
blockboard
Strips of softwood glued together and faced with hard board on the outside
very stable - used for worktops andf shelves
hard board
Wood particles - mixed with resin
Like MDF but more dense
Used for drawer bottoms / tool walls etc
chipboard
larger particles of timber - mixed with resin
used for boarding - construction
