Psychoanalytic and Psychodynamic
Psychoanalytic refers to the perspective and theoretical ideas that were originated by Sigmund Freud
Psychodynamic refers to the ideas and perspective that came from Sigmund Freud and his followers
the difference is that the Psychoanalytic had involved it,s followers. They both focus on the human mind but the difference is clearly that psychoanalysis focuses on the psyche, unconscious, dreams, etc. And psychodynamic focuses on the mind and personality and tries to broaden the understanding.
Defense mechanism
psychological strategies that are unconsciously used to protect a person
Repression:Unconscious mechanism used by the ego to keep behind the disturbing thoughts
Sublimation; Putting your emotions in another thing but in a social acceptance way
Regression; You go back to the attention that you did when you were a kid
Displacemnet: putting your emotions in other individual
Projection; Showing to another person you feelings thoughts and motivation
Denail: exclusion of external events to prevent procupations.
