Chloroplast
-
-
The main function of the chloroplasts is that they are the site for where photosynthesis occurs and so are important for the production of food by plants.
Ribosomes
-
-
-
Their main function is that they are the site for protein synthesis, in other words, ribosomes are the place where proteins are produced.
Vacuole
A vacuole is a membrane bound organelle which is always present in plant cells and sometime present in animal cells.
They are enclosed compartments which are filled with water, sugars and ions.
However its main functions are to store water, help remove unwanted substances from the cell or help support plant structures such as leaves and flowers.
-
Eukaryotes
-
They are the cells that have helped organisms advance to new levels of specialization beyond imagination
-
-
cells
-
A cell has three main parts: the cell membrane, the nucleus, and the cytoplasm.
