When have laws or rules kept you safe or protected your freedom or rights?
The laws have protected citizens by protecting our rights and freedoms.

The law states that you cannot harm someone on purpose like murder or injuring someone
If you are harmed by someone the law helps you by creating a punishment for the accused.

Imprisonment

Community Service
Laws keep everyone equal and out of trouble
An example of when laws have protected citizens is when people follow road rules and this stops the road from becoming a real life bumper cars
Why is it important for everyone to follow the law?
Law is how people should act
It is a guideline for how people should operate
