LINEAR
The linear communication model explains the process of one-way communication, whereby a sender transmits a message and a receiver absorbs it.
The message signal is encoded and transmitted through channel in presence of noise. The sender is more prominent in linear model of communication.

SMCR MODEL
David Berlo's SMCR Model of Communication represents the process of communication in its simplest form.
He described three primary aspects of all forms of communication: the speaker, the subject, and the person who receives the message.
The acronym SMCR stands for Sender, Message, Channel, and Receiver.
