Angina Pectoris
Tachycardia (rapid pulse)
-Syncope

Decreased Blood Pressure:
-Syncope
-Postural Hypotension
-Anaphylactic Shock
-Cardiac Arrest
-Allergic Drug Reactions

Causes:
Insufficient blood supply to cardiac muscle, may be precipitated by stress and anxiety.
Symptoms:
-Chest Pain
-Vital Signs Satisfactory
-Patient History of Angina (pain persists 3-5 min.)
-Shortness of Breath
-Nausea
-Pain diminishes when physical or emotional stress ends
Treatment:
P: Upright/Semi-Reclining
A/B: Administer Oxygen
C: Monitor Pulse
D: Activate EMS/Admin. Nitroglycerin 0.2-0.6 mg sublingually every 5 minutes up to 3 times over 15 minutes.

Signs of Patient Deteriorating:
-Pain does not Subside
-Vitals are unstable
-Re-evaluate Diagnosis as likely AMI
