As humans have different physical characterists, they do so with personality traits, the way they learn, the way they process information, etc. Individuals are unique and their characterists influence language achievement as well as other factors. When planning my classes, I try to achieve different multiple intelligences. For instance, a learner that has interpersonal intelligence will take much more advantage from group activities than one that has intrapersonal intelligence. But among all the learner variables, one that I definitely considerate since my first day at any group is SELF-STEEM. When I have my first talk with them, I try to show all the knowledge (baggage) of English they are bringing with them and I always tell them that they will, for sure, have many mistakes along the way, but that is part of the learning process.
