stunted growth
frequent watery diarrohea
severe growth retardation
loss of subcutaneous fat
Nutritional dwarfing
weight and height both reduced in same proportion
child appear superficially normal
marked retarded growth.
Underweight child
at times reduced plasma albumin
risk of respiratory and gastric infections
below normal height and weight for age
