Axis (in degrees)
P wave axis
Look for largest P wave in limb lead and note angle (remember P is atrial depolarization from high to low and left to right)

ST segment
normally isoelectric because cells in phase 2 plateau, elevation defined as over 1mm above baseline
T wave
up in all frontal and left leads, down in children in right leads

Rhythm
must have upright p wave and 1:1 conduction to be sinus (originating from SA node in upper left corner)
if PR interval the same but different rate between beats, and no dropped beats, the "sinus arrhythmia" which is a physiologic finding
