Professional Example: The Tobacco Control Act of 2009 was enforced with new regulations on packaging and advertisements. It required that all smokeless tobacco packaging must have a warning that is located on the principal sides and cover 30% of each of the sides. For tobacco advertisements, the warning label must cover 20% of the area of the lab. This controlled and regulate how business advertised and packaged their tobacco products.

Professional Example: OPA's are inputs to most planning processes. Throughout the project the team may update and add to the process. An example could be an event that happens annually. The project manager could use previous lessons learned, historical documents, and templets to plan for the upcoming annual event. Using standardized guidelines and processes will help streamline the project.
