Unique and difference of belief system.
Buddism
Was founded in northeastern India by Prince Siddhartha in the sixth century B.C. Having achieved enlightenment, he became known as Shakyamuni and preached a path of salvation to his followers.
The Buddha taught about Four Noble Truths. The first truth is called “Suffering (dukkha),” which teaches that everyone in life is suffering in some way. The second truth is “Origin of suffering (samudāya).” This states that all suffering comes from desire (tanhā). The third truth is “Cessation of suffering (nirodha),” and it says that it is possible to stop suffering and achieve enlightenment. The fourth truth, “Path to the cessation of suffering (magga)” is about the Middle Way, which are the steps to achieve enlightenment.
The buddha have the four noble truth because of the contingency plan for dealing with all kind of suffering such as physical, mental and ect . Basically specifying that all life will have suffer and non is perfect.
Theravada Buddhism is common in Sri Lanka, Cambodia, Thailand, Laos, and Burma (Myanmar). It emphasizes a monastic lifestyle and meditation as the way to enlightenment.
Mahayana Buddhism is common in Tibet, China, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, and Mongolia. It emphasizes the role models of bodhisattvas (beings that have achieved enlightenment but return to teach humans).
Buddhism embraces the concept of karma (the law cause and effect law ) and reincarnation (rebirth). Basically meaning that a new soul will be reborn into a new body depend on how the past doing in their previous life and this will connect to the first karma point.
Follower: Buddhism can worship in temples in their own homes. Especially for buddies monks has to follow strict behavior which included celibacy.
Christianity
Christianity originated with the ministry of Jesus, a Jewish teacher and healer who proclaimed the imminent kingdom of God and was crucified c. AD 30–33 in Jerusalem in the Roman province of Judea.
The Christians are monotheistic (they only believe in one god) and also believe in heaven and hell, this is also divine in godhead which is split into the godfather (God Himself), the son (Jesus), and the holy spirit.
Christian beliefs about life, a death that they are resurrection by Jesus and they believe that the god father sent his son (Jesus) down to save the world. Jesus has die on the cross to ask for forgiveness of the sins(bad action).
Christians have the Holy Bible have the outline of Jesus teaching, the lives and teach the major of prophets and disciples and also the instruction of how to live as a Christian
Jesus follower= Disciples
Disciples who has been given a gift by god= Prophets
Christianity dedicate follower are called disciples and for Pope they has to follow a rule which included being a male and are catholic.
