Pathophysiology
Circulation of infection microbes through the blood stream to susceptable bone lead to inflammation.
The organism grow , pus form within the bone , and abscess may form this deprives the bone of it blood supply .eventually leading to necrosis.
Causes
A bacteria called staphylococcus a type of staphylococcus bacteria , causes osteomyelitis
Certain chronic condition , the diabetes may increase your risk for osteomyelitis
Defination
Is an infection of a bone .symptoms may include pain in a specific bone with overlying redness , fever and weakness.
