inflammatory demyelinating disease of the CNS in which activated immune cells invade the central nervous system and cause inflammation, neurodegeneration, and tissue damage.

Management

Get adequate sun exposure and supplement with vitamin D (5,000 IU per day in winter)
Eat a healthy diet low in saturated fat, and supplement with flaxseed oil.
