Causes
Post-traumatic injuries that can cause damage to the hypocampus( which is responsible for memorizing information).
Drug use- can calm one's nerve and escape them from their subconscious problems which lead impaired memory loss, time and perception then result to amnesia.
After stroke most people struggle with planning, problem solving and memorizing most of the things.
Brain surgery- after brain injury the maybe a requirement for the removal of hippocampus( which is responsible for the memory in the brain). [Gazzaniga. M, Ivry.R & Mangun G, 2009]

Defination
