The social srtucture was composed of: the Tlatoani(supreme ruler), the pipiltin, who had long held power, the high priests, the senior ilitary officials, and warriors. Other groups emerged from the lowers classes, pochteach(traders), craftsmen, and tlacotli (slaves)
tThe economy of Mesoamerican people was sustained by farming, specialized craftsmanship, the exchange of goods and products. Specialization occured mainly in the cities there people dedicated to specific trades, such as pottery, basket makers, rope makers, respected amantecas, specialists in feather art etc.
