Ataxia
Difficulty talking
Difficulty walking/loss of balance
Facial drooping
Treatment
Admin O2
Monitor pulse
Unconscious: Supine
Conscious: upright or semi upright
Call 911
CVA Conscious Pt
Sit patient upright or semi-upright, proceed with ABCD.
CVA Unconscious Pt
Patient should be supine, Admin CPR is pt loses pulse.
TIA-Transient Ischemic Attack
Mini stoke. Symptoms resolve in about 24 hours.
