Most well known code breaker to work at Bletchley
He designes the famous Bombe Machine to help decode enigma.
He paved the way for the 1st computer to be built by other code breakers
An influential code breaker at Bletchley Park
Was at forst given clerical work and paid just £2 per week.
After a few days she was given her own desk in hut 8 along side Alan Turning
Clarke decoded messages harder than the Enigma usually about submarines sinking British ships. This was a very stressful job
After the war she continued to work for the govenment communications head quarters
She died at home in Oxford in 1996.
There is a blue plaque outside her old house.
His picture is on the new £50 pound note

Was awarded an OBE in 1946 for his achievements during WW2 to help crack the enigma code
Was a mathamatician & engineer
made the plans for 2 machines called the difference engine & the analytical engine.
If built the analytic engine would have been the 1st computer by Babbage didnt have the money.
Born 10th December 1815.
Became a mathematician in a time that girls didnt go to school.
Ada wrote the worlds 1st computer programme 100 years before the computer exsisted.
Died age 36 of cancer but left an impressive legacy behind.
