For profit
Microfinance provider
A micro-finance provider gives out loans as small as $25 to disadvantaged entrepreneurs like women, people from low income families, … to jump start their business. Receiving interest is not their main goal, but helping lift people out of poverty by giving them a chance to start their own business is.

Cooperative
Businesses are owned by their members and created with the purpose of benefiting people who work in the coop. Profit is not the main aim of the business, however, it will be shared among the members (if the business generates some).
Workers Co-op
These co-ops help provide work for people. Moreover, everyone has equal rights to the decision-making processes.

Producer Co-op
Different producers (farmers, artists) work together and share supplies and resources. The profit are distributed evenly between producers.

Not - for - profit
Charity
Provide voluntary support for emergency situations. The organization will raise money and create awareness to help improve society

NGO
Organizations that help provide aids for emergency situations and raise awareness for global issues. These organizations are also privately funded and receive no investment from the government. Their scope is generally much bigger than other non-for-profit social enterprises.

Non-profit
Non-profit generally reinvest all of their profits back into themselves. No one individual can claim the profit for themselves. They vary in size but overall, non-profits are on the smaller size compare to other social enterprises. Non-profit can receive donations but don't need or reach charity status
